Privacy Policy

Oghere is a private space for nightly reflection, operated by Oghere LLC (New York). We built Oghere around data minimization: we collect only what is needed to give you the experience, and nothing more. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Your email address, used to sign you in.
• Your reflections. The text you write, and the transcript of anything you speak. We do not store the audio recording itself; your voice is transcribed to text and the recording is discarded.
• Your identity map and settings, which Oghere builds from your reflections along with the preferences you choose.
• Subscription status for Oghere Premium. Purchases are processed by the app store, and payment details never reach us. We never see or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the app: to sign you in, to transcribe what you speak, to generate the nightly mirror observation and your weekly insights, and to maintain your identity map and history.

Service providers

Like most applications, Oghere relies on a small number of vetted service providers to operate. They fall into these categories:

• Cloud hosting and database infrastructure
• Authentication
• Speech-to-text transcription
• AI language processing, used to generate your reflections and insights
• Subscription and payment processing
• Privacy-respecting product analytics

These providers process your information only to deliver the service on our behalf, under contractual terms that restrict them to that purpose. Your reflections are sent to our transcription and language providers solely to produce your results, and neither we nor they use your content to train models. We do not publish the names of individual providers here, which is ordinary practice, but we will identify our current subprocessors on request to any user who asks, and to any customer or partner who requires the list for a data protection assessment.

Advertising and measurement on this website

This is about oghere.co, not the app. The Oghere app shows no ads, and your reflections are never used for advertising or shared with any advertising company. Nothing in this section touches them.

We advertise the coaching products, so this website loads the following trackers. Each one sets or reads a cookie or a similar identifier in your browser, and each is named here because we run it:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google): counts visits and which pages are read, so we know what is working. Google privacy policy
• Google Ads conversion tracking (Google): tells Google Ads, which includes YouTube and Search, that an ad led to a purchase. Google privacy policy
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): tells Facebook and Instagram that an ad led to a purchase, and lets us show ads to people who visited. Meta Platforms privacy policy
• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation): tells LinkedIn that an ad led to a class registration, and lets us show ads to people who visited. LinkedIn Corporation privacy policy
• TikTok Pixel (TikTok): tells TikTok that an ad led to a purchase. TikTok privacy policy
• Reddit Pixel (Reddit): tells Reddit that an ad led to a purchase. Reddit privacy policy
• X Pixel (X Corp.): tells X that an ad led to a purchase. X Corp. privacy policy

When you arrive from an ad, the platform adds an identifier to the link, such as a click id and campaign parameters. We keep those for the duration of your visit so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. They are not linked to anything you write in the app.

When you buy something, our checkout provider tells our server that a purchase happened. We then report the sale and its value to the advertising platforms above so they can attribute it to the right campaign. Your email address is never sent in the clear for this purpose: it is turned into an irreversible cryptographic hash first, which lets a platform recognise its own customer without us handing over your address.

You can refuse this. Browser settings that block third-party cookies, tracker-blocking extensions, and the opt-out controls in each vendor's policy linked above all prevent it, and none of them affects your ability to buy, download, or use anything you have paid for.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use your reflections for advertising, and we never share them with an advertising platform. The app itself shows no ads.

Where your data is stored and how it is protected

Your data is held on established cloud infrastructure in the United States. Access is controlled by row-level security, so your reflections are tied to your account alone and are not readable across accounts. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to those who need it to operate the service.

Your rights

You can export your reflections at any time. You can delete your account from within the app, in Settings, which permanently removes your data. If you prefer, you can email us and we will delete your account and data within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or port your information.

Age

Oghere is not intended for anyone under 16.

Not medical care

Oghere supports reflection and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
